Oximeter can be used to monitor the patient's blood oxygen saturation and pulse and other values. Its correct use can be analyzed from the pre-operation preparation, operation, etc.
Pre-operation preparation: If the patient has manicure, it will affect the accuracy of the blood oxygen index. It is best to keep the nails and not do manicure. If both are done, it is best to remove one. If the fingers are very cold or very wet, the oximeter may not work. Therefore, you can rub or dry your hands before measurement, and finally rest for 5 minutes before measurement to avoid affecting the accuracy of the value.
During operation: Press the switch on the oximeter panel to turn on the oximeter. Then put one of the fingers completely into the silicone paper film and clamp it, and the nail should be facing up. After the pulse and blood oxygen saturation appear on the oximeter display, you can release your fingers, and then observe whether the values are within the normal range, and then make corresponding judgments.
